Color Club Halo Hues Collection Swatches

Hey lacquerheads! Today I have Color Club's Halo Hues collection to show you. I've been wanting this collection for a couple months now, but the nail store I always go to took too long to get it so I ordered one from another polish blogger selling a few sets on Instagram. Thanks Yamii! This collection consists of 6 linear holos. My photos are shown at 3 coats, without topcoat, and with flash.

Here's the photo collage I made for my Instagram in case you want to see a side by side.

Angel Kiss-light green linear holo.

Blue Heaven--light blue linear holo.

Cloud Nine--light pink linear holo.

Halo-Graphic--pink linear holo.

Cherubic--tan linear holo.

Harp On It--silver linear holo.
I'm completely in love with all of these and so glad I finally added these to my stash!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Turkey Day loves! I did a quick Thanksgiving mani that I'm not even wearing today. I only have a few days off from school so I'm gonna try to do my nails a few times while I can lol. I used OPI Call Me Gwen-ever, Color Club Almost Famous, China Glaze Adventure Red-y, and China Glaze Mahogany Magic. Hope everyone has a lovely Thanksgiving with their families. I'm so thankful for all of my followers and for my husband who buys me all the nail polish I want <3

Tan, Teal, and Brown Gradient Dotticure

Happy Friday! Today I have my first dotticure to show you. I used this tutorial from Sarah at Chalkboard Nails. I usually avoid using a dotting tool because I'm so anal and I love everything to be perfect and symmetrical, but I got out of my comfort zone, tried this out, and ended up loving it! I used OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons for the base and then added dots using Color Club Age of Aquarius and China Glaze Mahogany Magic.

Color Club Modern Pink and Konad M65

Happy Saturday! Today is my first wedding anniversary with my husband! Last night we went to a flashlight tour at the Winchester Mystery House. It was really fun, not very scary though. I was half hoping I would see something paranormal, but I guess I'm glad I didn't because I wouldn't have been able to sleep. I was going to do some stamping with red and hearts, but it would look too much like a Valentine's Day mani so I used roses instead. I used Color Club Modern Pink and stamped using Konad M65 in China Glaze Passion.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

31 Day Nail Challenge--Day 3: Yellow

Goodmorning beauties! Today's theme is yellow and I decided to go with some simple stamping. I used Color Club Almost Famous and stamped using MASH 42 in Konad Black. As simple as these are, I got a lot of compliments on them!

Rawr! Wild stamping with Konad Q1

Hi readers! I have a very colorful mani to show you all today. I did a similar one here last year. The base colors I used are all from Color Club's Poptastic Collection: Age of Aquarius, Edie, Chelsea Girl, Koo-Koo Cachoo, Almost Famous, Twiggie, Puccilicious, and Almost Famous. I stamped using Konad Q1 in Konad Black. It was a bit time consuming, but it was well worth it because I loved how it turned out!

Nicki Minaj Inspired Nails #4

Hey everyone! Short post tonight. I wanted to get this up earlier this week, but OMG this second semester of nursing school is literally kicking my boootay and I have had no time and I should really be studying now. Anyways, here's my 4th and final Nicki Minaj inspired mani. I actually wanted to do more because I was so inspired, but the contest ended and I only had time to do 4. For this mani I used a base coat of China Glaze White Out and then used a dotting tool to add Color Club: Feelin' Groovy, Koo-Koo Cachoo, Chelsea Girl, Pucci-Licious, Almost Famous, and Poptastic. I stamped in Konad M57 in Konad Black.

Out of the four, one of my final entries was submitted for voting. The moderator chose this one, but personally I liked my #1 with the fish scale look. Funny thing, every time I enter a contest, the moderator never chooses my favorite! Sucks, but a win is a win and I had fun participating =] Anyone interested can follow me on Instagram @heartnat24

Nicki Minaj Inspired Nails #1

Hi everyone! So I mentioned before I use this iPhone app called Instagram and I like to enter these little nail contests. I like how when I'm sometimes lacking inspiration these contests will give me a direction to go in. Anyways, the current one is to do nails inspired by outfits worn by Nicki Minaj or Lady Gaga. I did 4 so you'll be seeing them this week. I wanted to do more actually because I got a lot of inspiration, but I started nursing school again today so no more daily manis ='[

For this mani I painted all my nails with OPI Fly. Then I used a dotting tool to add medium sized random blobs of OPI. Did It On 'Em, OPI DS Glow, China Glaze Gaga for Green, Color Club Chelsea Girl, and L.A. Girl Disco Brites Vinyl Record. Lastly I stamped using Bundle Monster 224 in Konad Black. Pretty awesome, right?! One of Nicki's outfits in her "Super Bass" music video was the inspiration for this mani.

Halloween Mani #2 Candy Corn Water Marble

Okay so I saw a few candy corn manis this month and thought they were really cute so I wanted to give them a try for myself. First, I tried doing a water marble with just the color scheme, but wasn't loving it very much, so I just decided to just do a water marble of it without the actual marbling. I used a base coat of Wet n Wild French White Creme and then marbled using Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sun Kissed, and Color Club Almost Famous. I topped it off with China Glaze Fairy Dust.

Color Club Poptastic and Konad M64

Hey lovelies! Sorry it's been awhile since I last posted. I wore this mani last month. I got a lot of compliments on it. I love the look of multicolored stamping! I used Color Club Poptastic and stamped using Konad M64 in Konad Yellow, Konad Princess Apple Green, and Konad Sky Pearl. Hope you like it! I promise I won't take so long for my next post =]

China Glaze Crackle Glaze Metals - Cracked Medallion

I have another CG Metal Crackle to show you all today! I used Cracked Medallion over Color Club in Modern Pink. I also love this combo. I really enjoyed all the crackles from this collection. I'll be posting them throughout the week. I'll just cut straight to the photos =]

Rainbow Snakeskin

This may just be my favorite mani of mine that I've ever done. My husband said it's his fave so far. This doesn't usually happen to me, I was inspired by something that I saw. I got some workout shorts from Sports Authority this week and they had really cool prints on them. Anyways, I just copied them and voila! I used 8 Color Club Poptastic colors including: Age of Aquarius, Pucci-licious, Poptastic, Wham! Pow!, Almost Famous, Twiggie, Edie, and Chelsea Girl. For the snakeskin design I used BM 224 in Konad Black. I just wore these to work tonight and I got soooo many compliments. Hope you like!

Bright Freehand Nail Art

My wedding shower was a few days ago on Saturday, and I wanted to do some abstract nail art, but this was a total fail for me. I kept this on for maybe an hour and took it off. I did something after this and it looks way better, I'll post the pretty one tomorrow haha. For the base I used one coat of China Glaze White out and then two coats of China Glaze White Cap. Then for the brightly colored lines I used Color Club Warhol, Koo-Koo CaChoo, Mrs. Robinson, and Feelin' Groovy. I used a short nail art brush here because I thought it would give me more control (I couldn't be more wrong lol), but after I took this off I used a longer nail art brush and it worked WAY better to create the curved lines. Again, the pretty post will come tomorrow ;]

Color Club Feelin' Groovy & BM 209

I got this neon green Color Club from their Poptastic collection. I'd have to say, this is such a beautiful collection with tons of bright colors perfect for summer. I might just get the rest of the entire collection. I'm always hesitant with neons because they usually tend to dry matte and chip very quickly. So far I've used 2 of these neons and they have a great formula that dries shiny. Here I used 3 coats of Feelin' Groovy. I stamped with BM 209 in Konad White and then in Konad Sky Pearl to get a layered effect and make the blue show up a little more. Sorry if the photos look a bit washed out.

Color Club Worth the Risque

Picked this one up in my haul earlier this week. I really wanted some holo polishes for my collection because I don't have any linear holos and I'm so jealous of looking at pictures of everyone elses haha. I got 3 from color club: Worth the Risque (this one), Wild at Heart, and Fashion Addict. This one had kind of a thick formula so it wasn't the easiest to apply, but it was still totally manageable though. I used 4 coats here to get an even application, but 3 would've been fine. It's not very holo, but I don't care because it's my first linear holo and some holo is better than none =]

Favorite pic of this one! Click to enlarge.

Kinda dark, but it shows the holo pretty well.

Color Club Covered In Diamonds

I was looking online last night for Nfu-Oh Flakies and the cheapest ones I saw were $12.50 on Fabulous Street. I found the website from soguesswhat11. It's a pretty good deal considering they go for much more than that on other websites, but right now that's just a bit more than I want to spend for one nail polish. Then, this morning I remembered I have a flakie that I haven't even tried yet--Color Club Covered in Diamonds! For a base I used L.A. Girl Disco Brites in Phenomenon. I'm pretty sure it's black, but sometimes it almost looks like a SUUUPER dark blue. Then for the magic, I used one coat of CC Covered In Diamonds. It's such a beauty and it was only $3.00 on Transdesign! You can do this to all of my pics, but especially for this one, you may want to click to enlarge to see how pretty this one is =]
