Happy Halloween! Today I have a perfect polish for the occasion. This is one coat of Orly R.I.P. over OPI Black Onyx. R.I.P. has a sheer black jelly base so I didn't have the patience to build it with multiple coats. I think it looks perfect for Halloween, especially if you don't have the time to do nail art. Does anyone have any special plans for Halloween? Whatever they are, hope you all have a safe evening!

China Glaze Beauty Within Swatch
Hey loves! Today I have a swatch of China Glaze Beauty Within from their United in Purpose Collection. I wanted a few more from the collection, but I had a huge haul this month and I used whatever small amount of control I had in me to pick just this one. It's a beautiful bright pink, the only thing I wasn't crazy about was the formula. I think it has some neon pigment in it because it dried semi-matte and I was really expecting this to be a creme, especially because it was released in October. Oh well, the formula wasn't troublesome and it's still awesome with topcoat, just not what I was expecting. I used 2 coats and topcoat for the photos below.

Candy on Candy
Happy Friday! I'm trying to get my Halloween manis in before the end of the month, so here's something sweet for you, candy! I stamped some candy over candy corn nails. For the candy corn base, I used Zoya Purity, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sun Kissed, and China Glaze Happy Go Lucky. Then I stamped over that using BM 306 in Konad Black. Too sweet or just sweet enough?

Pirate Hello Kitty, Argh!
Hey loves! Halloween is less than a week away and I'm finally getting around to doing some Halloween nails. I hoped to get around to doing some sooner, but now will have to do. Here's a Hello Kitty Pirate themed mani. She's cute as a pirate, or probably anything for that matter! Here's what I used:
Base colors: OPI Black Onyx, Zoya Arizona
Stamping Colors: Konad Black, Konad White
Image plates: FUN 2, BM 317, CH 49, CH 36

Born Pretty Store 12 Color Hex Glitter Review
Hi readers! Today I have something sparkly to show you from Born Pretty Store. I did a frame mani using a set of multi-colored hex glitter over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.
You get a set of 12 different colors and they come in small plastic containers. The best part--you get all 12 for only $6.45.
There's such a good variety of colors that come in this set. The only thing that I didn't like was that 2 of the lids weren't screwed on right and you can see in the bottom photo, a bunch of the yellow gold and blue glitter are all over the place. Luckily they didn't come off completely and most of the glitter stayed inside the containers. I really enjoyed using these glitters. They're very easy to use and you don't have to go through the trouble of fishing out glitter from glitter polishes. I have searched for glitters like these before, but I have never been able to find as much of a variety of colors or for this cheap. You can purchase them here from Born Pretty Store and use my code "NV7X31" for 10% off your purchase.

Tan, Teal, and Brown Gradient Dotticure
Happy Friday! Today I have my first dotticure to show you. I used this tutorial from Sarah at Chalkboard Nails. I usually avoid using a dotting tool because I'm so anal and I love everything to be perfect and symmetrical, but I got out of my comfort zone, tried this out, and ended up loving it! I used OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons for the base and then added dots using Color Club Age of Aquarius and China Glaze Mahogany Magic.

OPI Die Another Day and Cheeky CH33
Hey my polished pretties! I'm sorry I've been so busy lately. This is just a really busy semester. I promise I'm doing my nails as much as I can for you all. Today I have one of the polishes I got from the OPI Skyfall Collection. I actually got all 12 plus the 18k gold flake top coat. I'm a sucker for holiday collections buying every collection I can get my hands on! Here's OPI Die Another Day stamped using Cheeky CH33 in China Glaze Passion. I was going for a fall look, but this actually looks a lot more festive than I expected.
Here's a swatch of OPI Die Another Day. 2 coats no topcoat.

Breast Cancer Awareness Nails
Happy Friday! I haven't stamped my nails in almost 2 weeks and I feel so incomplete. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I decided to do some stamping to honor it. I used OPI Pink Friday and stamped using BM 321 in Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Presto Pink. Have you ladies had a breast exam lately or at least performed a breast self-examination? Don't forget!

Models Own Mirrorball Collection Swatches
Hi loves! So sorry for the lack of posts, school has been very hectic lately and it's only going to get harder come end of October. Waa! Anyways, today I have the Models Own Mirrorball Collection to show you. These are my very first Models Own polishes. I haven't bought any before because it is a UK brand and shipping here to the US is more than I'm willing to spend. I ordered mine from Ninja Polish to avoid the shipping fees. This collection consists of 5 polishes that contain glitters of different size, shape, and color in a clear base. All are swatched over a black creme and are shown with topcoat. Are you ready for this glittery goodness?!
Formula on these were good. I did end up doing some of the whole blob some polish on and smear it around with the brush, but that's no surprise with these types of glitter polishes. I would recommend using 2 coats of topcoat or one really thick one. I knew when I saw these online I had to have them and I'm really happy that I purchased this collection. There are so many possibilities with these and I don't have anything else like them in my collection!

OPI Germany Collection Swatches
Hey readers! Today I have swatches of OPI's Fall 2012 Germany Collection to show you. It consists of 6 shimmers and 6 cremes. I typically do nail art, but I got this collex back in August and I've been dying to play with them. Sometimes if I don't do swatches of polishes, they'll be in my untrieds forever lol. Hella polish hoarder over here. My stash is at about 486 not counting top coat, base coats, or Konad/stamping polishes. Yikes! What's your "number?"
I really LOVE all 6 of the shimmers. Out of the cremes, I love Dont' Pretzel My Buttons and My Very First Knockwurst. I'm not partial to grey at all and the 2 weird colors, well they're just that. The formula was great on all of them. All swatches are 2 coats, except Suzi & the 7 Dusseldorfs and Berlin There Done That, they're 3. These are all shown without topcoat. Which ones have you ladies picked up?

Guest Post for Let Them Have Polish
Hey beauties! The lovely Cris from Let Them Have Polish asked me to do a guest post for her! She is one of my all time favorite bloggers so you can imagine when I read her message I was squealing like a little girl in happiness and excitement. I did this owl mani especially for her. To see my inspiration and what I used, it out here!
